Melbourne Full Time Courses In Melbourne en>fr fr>en By danceloversara Comments: 4, member since Sat Jan 23, 2010On Sun Jan 24, 2010 02:19 PM
I want to do full time in Melbourne for 2011. I'm interested in Patrick Studios and was just wondering if anyone has done it and if it was worth it, if they got much out of it or where else is better to go then that. I know that this course is not accredited and I was wondering if that would be a problem in the future or not..
Thanks! 2 Replies to Full Time Courses In Melbourne |

I guess it depends on whether you are really keen on having some kind of accreditation/certificate to your name after you finish your course. Patrick Studios is the 'new hot thing' right now....their fulltime course is obviously good as their dancers are amazing, their elite teenage program is obviously great too as they were amazing at the comps last year too....but again, a lot of great dancers left other schools to go to the 'new hot place right now' so it's not like they have trained these kids from scratch.
I have also heard quite good things about Spectrum Dance in Camberwell/Burwood too but i don't think it's in the league of Patrick....then again thats just what i hear...i know people who have done both and equally got exactly what they wanted out of their courses. I think the best thing is to do classes at some of the places you are considering and see what you think of the teachers, studios and if you think you fit in there etc...Centrestage also has a course called Showfit and I have heard good things about their fulltime courses in the past too. |
