I despise footundeez with a passion, so I either use pirouettes by capezio or go barefoot.

I used to wear FootThongs, but they really aren't made as nicely as they used to and my last pair lasted me 2 months! My first lasted me 2 years!! I now use a cheaper version of Dance Paws.

Are Capezio Pirouettes worth buying? I hear they rip.

I LOVE Adage The Turners. You can order them off Just For Kix. They are a little expensive but last a very long time and are VERY comfortable and are PERFECT for almost all kinds of dance. I LOVE them!

there are ballet shoees that are missing the bak end of the shoes. I like to call bal-orn! Its a mixture of ballet and modern dance.

Dance Paws! They don't make my neuromas flare up like regular dance shoes can and with all the toes through holes I find they stay on better without twisting than a thong-type design does. I read they run small so I got one size larger than I would by the chart; however I also got the slightly more expensive kind with the adjustable velcro strap. I didn't have to trim the holes much and then I treated the openings with Dritz. So far they've lasted for, I'm estimating, over 400 classes. I've never tried Foot-Undeez but read that they even though they are cheaper they wear out faster.

It depends! Some days I wear capezio pirouette shoes, foot undez, or jazz shoes, and sometime barefoot! I mostly depends on if I can turn good that day and what kinds of turns and stuff! so I have my moods with my shoes! But when I wear my jazz shoes I just wear one on my right foot!! Because I can turn without something on my left foot! So I had to pick foot undez! (:

I perfer dance paws because they give your feet more coverage while looking as if you are wearing no shoes from a distance. They are also alot easier to turn in. I would recommend any one using foot undieez to switch to dance paws.

I would say barefeet for sure. I feel more grounded, raw, and professional...not to mention tough cause my feet look like a cavewomen's

I've used Dance Paws, Pirouettes, Capezio Freeforms and plain old ballet shoes.

I prefer the Freeforms and regular ballet shoes for class/rehearsal.

Freeform or Pirouettes for stage, though in my experience the pirouettes don't last very long if you practice at all on carpet (like before you go on stage at a competition.)

FootUndeez are my absolute favorite dance footwear. <3
If I'm not using them in my lyrical class, then I'm dancing barefoot. I don't like wearing shoes for lyrical, and I don't like the look of dance paws/capezio pirouettes/foot thongs, etc.

Footundeez all the way. I order an XL so that the edges down wear down as fast as when I wear a L.
I've tried Dance Paws on two separate occasions, and I absolutely hate them. Even though I trim away at them, they just don't fit right. My feet are pretty wide, and apparently my toes, especially my big toe, are ginormous!

I used Footundeez for a longgg time, probably about 4-5 seasons worth. I liked them, but they broke extremely easily and fall off every two seconds. I now use one turner.
bootygift.com . . .

They look like this, and I really like them. They allow me a lot of control but they push my turns to the max. I've been doing really nice consistent triples every time and a lot of quads (but the triples are more controlled, pretty, and consistent, so they are in my dances instead of quads.)

I recommend Turners over anything. I think mine were from Capezio's or Leo's. The first one I had ripped though so we ordered from a new company.

www.capeziostore.com . . .

I'm pretty sure those are them :)
