OK OK I know there isn't a day 9 and that would be TOMORROW anyway BUT!!!

I just wanted to give a HUGE HUGE Thank You to Louise for all of the time and effort she put into giving us an ALL Irelands Play By Play in most cases faster than the All Irelands page had it posted.

Thank you for the double shifts, The cramped fingers, and the possible carpal tunnel that you have put yourself through this week.

Thanks for all of the great photos you grabbed for us also!! You are the best!!

Can I add a huge thank you to Louise for all the patient typing of lists and results. I'm based in Scotland so if you need anything when in Glasgow just let me know.

Thanks so much Louise! Your information was brilliant, even when I was in Killarney at the weekend, I would still come out to check your info as it was easier to access that the info in the hall!

^ You didn't tell us how it went! Did you dance or just watch? Did you enjoy it? I love post-event reviews from people who were actually there, instead of passing up on social events to stay at home glued to the laptop :P

I was most definitely just a spectator! Two of my class-mates danced and I went to support them. One danced in under 17's and one in senior ladies. Unfortunately, neither recalled but they both danced well and had a great time. I did see Shocknessey dance but didn't get to talk to her (I recognised her dress!)

This was my first time at the All Irelands, I had been to see the Worlds the last time they were in Belfast and it was interestng to see the differences in the competitions. The standard of dance was very varied in both the competitions I saw (U17's and O21).

We stayed in the river apartments beside the Gleneagle and they are highly recommended. It was great to have space to be able to stretch out and let the suitcases explode! Self-catering facilities made it much cheaper for us all. The school I dance for is pretty small so we are like a family so it was like being on a family holiday.

Louise, I'm jealous thay you'll be in Glasgow, we were supposed to have a ceili team in over 16's but half of our team can't make it :( I'm so looking forward to next years worlds - they take place in a venue thats about 15 mins down the road from my house!
