I had a 98 Pontiac Sunfire. My baby
Except mine had 2 doors and a sunroof
I had her for about 5 years and then the transmission died..and it was like $2000 to have fixed, which was apparently the value of the car. So I just got a different one..which I now loathe. :-/ (01 Ford Focus)..and no sunroof.

Oh, I'd kill for one of those. My pursuit in life is for a Buick Grand National with the T-Tops in relatively good condition.

2000 Silver Toyota Echo...four door. I loved that baby.
The interior of it was great because there were a lot of little compartments and the meters and stuff were situated in a fun little place...
Miss that car so much. It was the car I learned to drive in, but I only had it to myself for like 6 months until I got in a wreck.

Mine was a white 1994 Ford Escort LX. It's was a POS but I loved it because it had been my brother's and was very sentimental. I only drove it for a few months before the engine broke. I was very torn up over it, probably more torn up than anyone's ever been over an Escort. I begged my dad to fix it but y'know.. Dumping $3000+ into a 10 year old car isn't exactly a smart plan.

1975 Honda Civic.
Actually, a relatively rare one: it had 4 doors AND a boot (not a hatchback). Although the boot was so tiny it was more like a slipper. I kept a sleeping bag and a tool kit in there.
...
OMG. Looking through the net trying to find an image brought up this: www.vantagemanagement.com.au . . .
Aside from the transmission (mine was a manual, this one's an auto), it's EXACTLY the same as my old one. Right down to the colour!
My number plate was "IDK ###", and I used to mess with my friends heads when they asked what it stood for. "I don't know..."
I loved that car.
I had a dodgy speedo which didn't really work between 80km/h and 100km/h (but at the time there was no "90" zone). The engine was completely rebuilt when I got it, and I got a new stereo with a TAPE deck for my 21st. Sheepskin seat covers in a matching blue, a toy rabbit in the coin tray, and away we go!

A 1960 Chevy Impala 4 Door, very similar to the one in the photo. Mine was white and had a rust red trim over the rear wheel wells. I got it in 1964 just after graduation from college.
It was supposed to be a cream puff. It only had 15,000 miles when I got it. It was quite literally owned by a little old lady who happened to be the credit manager of the local Chevy dealer and a professional friend of my mom who was the credit manager of the local department store. The deal was, since I didn't have a dime to my name at a time when one had to have 1/3 down to buy a car, she was able to finance the car for no money down so I could get from Wisconsin to Maryland to start my new job.
Unfortunately the car, while fairly sharp looking, was a dog. It was only a six cylinder when 8 was the norm. It had utterly no pickup and was actually dangerous to try to get to speed on the parkway I had to travel to get to work. It had an automatic transmission with only two forward speeds which Chevy called "Powerglide" and owners called "Powerslide." After a couple of decent months, it became nothing by trouble. I got rid of it as soon as it was paid for. By the time I got rid of it I was married with two small kids. It was the first and last GM product I ever had.

1998 Red Dodge Neon...Lucy. that thing was a ghetto blaster. The radio had been taken out so there was just this big hole where it should have been. I ended up totaling it like a month after I got my license (had had it for about a year before getting my license, learned to drive in it). With that said, the car was only worth about 3000$ so it wasn't super hard to total.

My first ever ME car was a 2005 Chevy Venture minivan that I named Indy. I say first Me car cause after my dinkus hubby left me it was finally put my name....dang that was a good moment! LOL MY van, MY insurance, MY independence!!!!
A brand-new silver 1976 Oldsmobile Starfire. My grandparents bought it for me for my 16th birthday. I loved that car.
I googled around but this was the best picture I could find to show what the car looked like even though it's not the same color as mine was.

A 1972 bronze metallic Oldsmobile Cutlass with a white top.
I paid $800 for it. One in restored condition is now worth 30-40K. Wish I'd hung onto it.

I got a new 2006 Hyundai Accent in the spring of 06, a little silver hatchback that I named Gok (he's a gay Korean man...don't ask). I was nineteen but had never driven before, so it was my first car. And I had him until about three weeks ago when someone ran a red light into me and might have totaled him. Not sure yet, but I've had a rental Nissan Versa since then.

A 1986 Ford Laser.
Like that but mine was a sort of light blue colour and it was in really good condition. I drove it for about 3 years before I got a new car. The car is still going but I think it has a new engine now. I killed the old (original) one.

My first car was a 1989 white Volvo 340, which I picked up for free (that was just about all that car was worth ...). The engine was shot, but I loved that car because it had attitude.
After a year I was offered a 5-year-old Rover 420 Diesel with loads of life still in it AND a good engine, so I very reluctantly decided to get rid of my Volvo.
I now drive a '08 Toyota Aygo, but I still miss my Volvo, as unreliable as it was ...

1994 Toyota Tercel
Except mine's greenish-blue. Two doors, manual transmission, no AC, no power anything. About as Spartan as a car can come. I still have her. She's on her last legs now, poor baby, but she's served me well. I've had her for almost 9 years now, and she already had 100,000 miles on her when I got her. Now she's pushing 250,000.
My next car WILL have AC, that is for sure. And cup holders.

I still have my first car, yay, and am going to be so sad when it eventually dies...the AutoZone guy told me I should get another 10 years or so out of it so long as I take good care of it.
It's a 2000 Civic, dark green, totally awesome.
The downside to someday getting a new car is that I can't stand the new Civics so I'll have to find something else unless they go back to the older interior design, haha.

I had a gray Buick Park Avenue. I want to say it was an 1989, but I don't think it was that old when I drove it (I didn't get it until 1997).
My mom drove it, and she wanted a reason to get a new car, and I'd finally gotten my drivers license, so I got the Buick as a graduation present, and she got a new car. Heh.
Eventually, I'd drive the car until it died, and then my brother repaired it so he could drive it, and told me he'd pay me $400 for it, which I never saw a penny of. Later when he was questioned on it, he said mom and dad were supposed to pay me.

Same one I drive now - 2001 Toyota Camry Solara, silver-gray.
Love everything about it. It looked brand new when my dad handed it off to me because he took such great care of it, and still he does whenever I go home.

I have a 2007 Honda Civic. I really like it a lot. I"m sad that I'll likely have to give it up this year. Its a 3 year lease thats up this summer. I applied to grad schools in the city so I won't need a car. Being in school and being abroad for a semester and stuff, It only has about 10,000 miles on it too. I don't recommend leasing your first car for this purpose. It hasn't been worth it for the amount I've used it and I'd love to keep it!

^ My brother had a blue metallic 1970 Chevelle. It was the fastest car in town. He did a lot of modifications in the engine, himslef. I remember he had an accelerator that was a chrome bare foot and a stereo that rocked the block. So cool!
