I don't care so much what the scale says, but I want to lose fat/gain more muscle. So basically I am happy with my weight, but unhappy with the way I look. I am trying to get a six-pack at the moment, but I love my dear icecream a bit too much for that.

The whole " They don't measure the" real" you " thing...I think that my body is part of me...which is why I care about it. I think my mental health, physical health, emotional health all make me who I am.

It depends on my mood and the clothes I'm wearing most of the time. However I've gained some weight due to BC and now have a bit of a tummy. I'm not really happy with that and am dying to lose it. But its hard and I've become too lazy to actually excercise. My aim is that in summer I start training again and lose a few pounds. I also never weigh myself because numbers get me down

I'm happy. I just lost the last few pounds from BC, so I'm only about 3 pounds over my wedding weight. I'm at a good weight for my height, considering I was way too thin a few years ago. I need to get back in shape though.

Overall, I'd say I'm pretty satisfied. However, I'm working to tone up (mainly upper thighs, abs and arms), and with that comes losing about 5 lbs probably. I know the muscle is there, I just need to lose some weight to see the results.

Plus, summer vacation (ie: my Europe trip) is in like 2 months, so I want to be beach-ready :) haha

I'm perfectly happy with my weight, but I'd love to be a little more toned. I don't work out as much these days.

I'm voting that I could lose a few pounds. I'm technically underweight (not dangerously, though) but I definitely don't look as small as I supposedly am. However, I don't know how much I would want to lose because as another response said my feelings about my weight fluctuate day to day.

People talking about BMI, please remember that BMI is just a guideline. It doesn't necessarily work well depending on your stature, how much muscle you have and your ethnic background.

Yes^, I agree. More on that in a second.

I'm fat. I know I'm fat and I'm working on that right now.

On BMI. When I did it in a calculator my BMI came out to over 30 and 'morbidly obese'. But when I went to a human being in the health club to calculate it they did the waist measurement and used that instrument on me to pull the fat (caliper? califer?) and said my BMI was most certainly not over 30. I was listed at just over 27. I felt a little bit better then, but I'm overall still fat, lol!

I wouldn't mind being a bit more toned. However, I'm definitely not overweight, just bigger than I wish I was.

I definitely would like to lose some weight and tone up. My upper body isn't to bad, but I have, what I think is a huge butt, and there is some definite thunder thigh going on lol. My ultimate goal would probably be to lose about 15 pounds.

I am not happy at all. I have lived most of my young adult life with an ever fluctuating weight. I have the lovely eating disorder. Most of my 8th/9th/10th grade years I was healthy weight but flirted with underweight. Then 11th I was significantly underweight and 12th after getting out of OP was at a healthy weight. Then came the abusive relationship which was just the opposite. I ate and ate hoping to make myself horrible so he would leave me alone. I gained 40 pounds in about a year. I am still overweight. I am still unhappy. I go through the cycle of restrict and starve for a few weeks then binge in times of stress. It sucks...a lot

I could stand to lose around 30 pounds (to be at my normal weight). My BMI is just going into the overweight portion. I've been on hormonal medicines that have made me gain insane amounts of weight. I would be starving all day, not just I'm bored so I'll eat like actually hunger pains. I could eat more then my boyfriend at that point. I just got off one of the meds and my appetite is back to normal. I feel that some of the weight is going come off easy because I've been super healthy lately and going to the gym.

I need to lose at least 10 pounds or more in a month because I'm going to a specialist and I want to be thinner.

Id like to lose twenty to be at a normal weight or thirty to be at a vanity weight. Working on dealing with my anxiety now, so that it will be easier to lose weight. I firmly believe that this extra baggage is just a reflection of my internal state. I eat to comfort myself, and i dont want to neeeed that anymore.

I said that I was perfectly happy with my weight. That being said, I'm not perfectly happy with the shape I'm in. I have gained a few pounds but I don't really want to lose them, just to lead a more active lifestyle.

I am happy with my weight, and Ì am at a healthy weight. One feature I'm not too happy with is my arms, because my style of dance really does not require much arm strength. Overall though, I wouldn't mind losing a pound or two, but I am still growing into everything.

I'm not awefully overweight but I need find a way to make my hips somehow disappear. I'm healthy weight, but it can't hurt to like my body just a bit more, right?

Unfortunately chocolate exists. Darn you chocolate.

"I could lose a few pounds."
I just feel more confident when I'm slimmer, especially when people notice and comment ;) Doesn't it feel good??

I think the best way to describe how I feel about my weight is 'concious'. Until recently I have been a recovering anorexic, though now I think 'recovered' probably fits the bill more. I am overall happy with my body, and it feels so good when I catch sight of myself in the mirror (like yesterday, at the barre in ballet class) and think "Woah, she looks good!" . I've also lost a lot of weight too quickly recently due to circumstances, which means I've been being monitored very closely by my doctor - but to be honest, I hate it. I didn't try to lose it, far from it, but I hated how weak it made me feel. At the moment I am in the process of regaining muscle and 'condition' (as I'd say about the horses I work with :P) for the summer - performances, prom and holidays here I come! - and it will feel so good when I'm back to that top form healthy state I'd reached. :)

I'd like to loose a few pounds. But I can't say how many: I do not own a scale, for reasons of my personal safty. And I'll never buy one. Never.

I got some body images troubles, but I'm working on them. So far, I haven't done anything harmful and I don't plan on doing so. Therefore, things will just stay the way they are.

The average person would probably think I'm in good shape, but personally, for myself, I would like to lose about 15 lbs. I gained 25 lbs in college (I needed to gain a little bit, I was very thin), but I would like to get rid of some of it. So far I've lost about 4 lbs since I've graduated and I feel better than ever.

I do think I could lose some weight, but strangely my feelings towards my body have changed a lot in the last few years. I no longer think of my body as the enemy. Set out to ruin my life with excess fat. While I know I am slightly out of shape, and I do desire a smaller waist, I love my body for all it does for me.

Strangely this helps me lose weight, and feel happy while doing it!
