 VIS - Ballet Department Beginner/Intermediate Ballet - Week 6 en>fr fr>en By Mellii Comments: 118, member since Mon Oct 20, 2008On Sat May 22, 2010 09:40 PM
Hey everyone,
I've been sick most of this week, so I haven't been able to prepare a full class, but I do have some things I'd like you to do:-
1-Go through all the old Beg/Int Ballet Classes and pick out some exercises that you enjoy or that you want to improve at. Memorize them. Now do them as much as possible until they are perfect
2-Stretch heaps!!
3-Make up your own dance/stretch routine or exercises and PM them to me, and I will include them in a class one day
4-Try writing your own ballet class, and the do it, correcting yourself as though you are the teacher
5-Try an DDN Int/Adv Ballet class, doing the exercises that you feel confident with
6-Teach a sibling, parent or friend to dance by teaching them some plies or tendus etc etc
7-Have fun, try your best in class, listen to corrections from your teacher, and really work hard to improve
I would like you to definitely do numbers 1 and 7, and then do anything else from the above list
Sorry about the not so good class

It's fine! Just focus on getting better!
Okey dokey, I'll get to and do it. I'm looking forward to trying an inter/adv class.
Thanks |
