I saw this section just languishing and wanted to do something for it!

This summer, belly dance-wise, I'm not getting much of anything accomplish. I am, however, trying to start up my own troupe for the autumn, so I'm getting ready for that this summer by collecting music.

What's everyone else doing this summer?

Well, for us it's winter here. We usually take a 2-week break for school holidays, but this time we'll be dancing through, having costume workshops and frantically working on a new fusion piece.

I'll be getting back to belly dance after a bit of a hiatus this spring to focus on my other obligations (a musical, a recital, a dance camp). I told my teacher I'd be back in July.

I'm still taking up lessons, but I got some new toys....FAN VEILS!!!!! I also took up gymnastics.
