I have the physique of a 12 year old boy, so it's no surprise I'm in the minority as well. I actually had no idea they were so common! I thought it was maybe 1 in 20 or so that had them. Then again, I only have 3 female friends and I'm not around women that much.

Yup, I got some too! Mine are on my hips, I got very curvy and very hippy at 13/14, and I like my hourglass figure now at 15, but back then it was annoying to be 'the one with curves' when all my friends were still straight up and down, while I got 4 1/2 inches taller, D boobs, and hippy!

Well, darn. I was thinking of pregnancy stretch marks. Should have noticed this wasn't under the "Baby On Board" section. So I voted "No" because I didn't get stretch marks with either pregnancy. But I certainly DID get stretch marks as a teen on my hips and even a few on my boobs.

Yup. Hips and thighs. Woohoo!

Also a minority - absolutely no stretch marks on me.

I got some pretty bad stretch marks the past two years when I quit doing intense physical activity and went to boarding school. I have recently lost a lot of fat in my stomach/thigh area the past two months and the marks are nearly gone. I honestly thought I would have to live with them forever, but I'm so pleased that they're not as bad now. I don't mind them too much, but they aren't as noticeable now, which is quite nice.

I don't have any but my mums always suffered. she rubs cocoa oil into them about 3-4 times a day and after 6 weeks you couldn't see them any more. she recommends palmers cocoa butter oil for anyone suffering.

Yeah I'm only 20 and I have them on my hips and thighs :/ ugh. And I haven't gained any weight! Lol i've pretty much been the same size since I was 14.

No, although I carried two babies to term, I have no stretch marks. My mother didn't have any and I don't think my grandmother did either.

I am surprised that so many people have them and it makes me feel a bit better about myself.

Yup, I have some on my hips. I think I got them when I was a bit heavier, but now they are just a very faint color now.

My body went from "skinny kid" to "curvy woman" in about six months when I was 15 (we're talking UK size 4, up to UK size 14) - I got curves, but then quite a bit of fat over it all.

I got rid of most of the fat but I've still got the stretch marks. My backside has a fair amount, and a tiny bit on my hips and inner thighs. You wouldn't notice the thigh ones unless you were specifically looking for them and the others are always covered. They're all 8+ years old now anyway so time + Bio Oil are on my side (I like to think it helps, no idea if it really does but my scars have improved with it too).

I put on some muscle when I was training full-time and then piled on muscle in the last six months, so I've got some on the back of my calves now too. Again, they've had a few years (about three now) to fade so they're not so bad.

Oh, and one single stretch mark on one breast. No, I don't get it either.

I'm in school and i've noticed stretch marks around my hips, i'm tall and a healthy weight, i guess it is to do with my growth spurts because i definitely have NOT had a baby, lol! My brother and dad also have stretch marks in the same area.
