How often? How long? en>fr fr>en

I've been working with the 10-Minute Solutions Pilates for about a month, generally working twice a week with the Pilates for Abs segment. After I do the Pilates segment, I usually do some turnout exercises as well. My abs are a lot firmer, but haven't flattened out yet the way I want them to.

At this rate, how long should it take for my abs to flatten out? Or do I need to do Pilates more often? If so, how much? Or is that not really a feasible thing to try to determine? I know everyone's different.

Sorry for the babbling. Thanks in advance! :D

I don't think it's quite feasible to determine based off of what we know...

For instance, if you feel like you're carrying some extra pudge on your stomach, then pilates is only part of the answer - you can't target weight loss to one particular part of your body, so you'd need to aim for weight loss in addition to using pilates to tone and firm. (You probably already know all this)

However, if you're feeling generally fit and are looking for more tone and a more slender waist line, then pilates can definitely do the trick! But how often you need to do it in order to see results is going to be based on your current fitness levels, etc.

I'd vote that if you're feeling a difference, then you're doing something right so keep at it! 10 minutes twice a week really isn't much, so you could certainly increase that if you feel inclined. Increase it gradually so you don't kill yourself, but 30-45 minutes twice a week should be reasonable. And if you have any actual pilates classes that you can go to, those are the very best! Plus a teacher could give you a lot more specific advice than we can on your goals and how to achieve them.

I'll be interested to hear what everyone else has to say.
