I just thought I'd post wondering what there is to do in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan? I know theres some kind of a dollhouse museum, but I'll be there for 5 days for a championship and competitions usually last only a few hours. Rest of the time its kind of boring... Anybody have anything?

There is a Forestry Farm/Zoo (not really a zoo though) if you are into that. I live not far from there, but when I go it's usually just to shop. I'm not sure of any other museums or anything, just the Forestry Farm, sorry!

Amarath to the rescue. I would not have been able to suggest anything at this time of year.

(Saskatoon must be terrific in winter with 50 inches of packed base, 10 inches of powder, and no tow lines)

I lived in Saskatoon for 22 years, so I guess I'm a local? There's tons to do depending on what you enjoy. Downtown has a ton of great restaurants and some shopping. The entire riverbank (Meewasin Park) is beautiful. It's a great place to walk, jog, read a book, or play frisbee. There are usually lots of people hanging out there that you can join in on. There are a few beaches in the area. Sutherland Beach off Attridge Drive is nice, as is Cranberry Flats or Bareass Beach. Those 2 are both a little out of town though. The Western Development Museum is awesome! I'm in my mid 20s and I still love going there! The Farmer's Market is definitely fun, lots of food and music and culture there all the time. There are of course the usual things, bowling alleys, movie theatres, etc, which are all over town. The river bank is definitely the place to be for summer though :D
