Cheerleading Trying to go to Disney! en>fr fr>en By ItzChrissyyyx3 Comments: 65, member since Sat May 17, 2008On Sun Jul 11, 2010 03:10 PM
Four people on our squad this year made it for All American cheerleading for Elite. We are really trying to go to the Capital One Bowl and perform the end of the December. It is 1200 a person to go and around 200 for airfare. We are trying to fundraise the money. So far we have tagging and possibly a car wash. Does anyone have any other easy ideas? 3 Replies to Trying to go to Disney! |

Bottle drives work well, and if you contact Purdy's or Krispy Kreme they'll let you go sell their products and give you a cut of the profit. We did these for a dance fundraiser, and this alone got all 10 of us most of the funds we needed for the whole weekend. You are looking at a larger scale, but you'll find some more ideas ! |

At my high school, the varsity dance team goes to Disney each year for nationals, but both varsity and JV help to fundraise. We sell cookie dough and magazine subscriptions, and they work really well. But our biggest fundraiser is the fashion show we hold each May. Each girl is expected to sell twenty tickets to the show and ten raffle tickets.
Bottle drives work pretty well, and car washes are usually quite profitable. What if you sold wristbands with your team name on them? I don't know how much time you have to get these made, but many companies have a pretty quick turnaround.
Good luck! |

I'm not a cheerleader, but thought I'd add some ideas:
- Selling Chocolates
- Bake Sale
- Auction
- Displays (charge a certain amount for how many minutes you do the display)
- Movie night (eg: $2 for kids under 6; $5 for kids 6-16; $8 for 16+ years)
- School Fair - Old costumes for sale; random toys for kids; school equipment, etc
- Busking |
