There are always kids who want to perform but not do the work in class. We all have to keep educating parents that the recital is the final product of the work done in class for an entire year. I will add in a late comer if there is space available in a class at appropriate level. They can certainly review skills they have mastered but pretty soon all realize thet have not progressed. Either they come back in the fall with changed attitude or choose not to return.
