I have had formal education double majoring in Dance and Psychology at Hope College in Holland Michigan. I am a native of Keflavik Iceland, and at the tender age of 5 had traveled accross the atlantic ocean 12 times. I have lived all over the country, I love to travel and teach. My passion, my life and the reason to continue living is my dancing and teaching the art of Belly Dance.
Ms. Ziva
Please feel free to visit my website learn more about me and why you would want to take these workshops. I personally feel as a belly dance student we all should take as many classes and workshops from as many different teachers as possible. We don't always have the opportunity to enjoy new teachers and different styles so that we may incorporate that into our own dance. If you have the same teacher all the time you will only learn what they have to offer. It is not to say that your teacher is bad, in fact most students have a very talented teacher, however it is simply another persons interpretation of a style of dance. They may have something to offer you that you have never seen before. I always encourage my students to take from lots of teachers so they become well rounded. Plus let's not forget how exciting and fun it is just to take these workshops and learn new choreography anyway. In my workshops you will learn a new dance, pick up some new style and I also have my bollywood workshop which itself is packed with a fun energetic dance. You will love it, I guarantee it! I realize that I am not well known throughout the country yet, but that is also why I am doing this tour. I think if you give me the chance and take my workshop you will not regret it at all. |
