Just wondering if anyone has taken the Dance Factory Teacher Academy course?

I know someone who has been dancing for ages has done half the Jazz course and says the course was a waste of time and the school is all about going for the money rather then delivering in good teaching. Just looking for others opinions.

Also, does anyone know if these courses are recognized outside Australia?

I studied the DFTA syllabus for 6 months. I personally didn't get anything out of it hence why I didn't finish the year out. It is not internationally or even really nationally reconized. If you are looking for a teaching course I would suggest Box Hill tafe Dance teaching and management.... a thorough and in depth teaching course in Cert 4 & Diploma. Hope this helps.
