Im a sophmore and I cheer at my highschool.
My stunt group was origionaly with 3 seniors and I but my coach keeps changing it everytime we do stunts. This annoys me because she takes a good strong senior and replaces her with a JV girl (Im Varsity).
I havve NEVER been a flyer so I am new to EVERYTHING but I have been told that I am the stongest flyer by my coach but when she keeps changing it makes it harder for the other base's and me to get the feel of someone new because she will do things differently or time things wrong. What can I do to help get used to the changing of bases?

It just takes time and confidence. I used to hate it when coaches kept changing stunts around but it really is necessary. You want all stunt groups to be equal to each other. It doesn't do your team much good if you have one amazing stunt group and two that keep falling. Eventually your entire team will be able to get the kinks out and you'll get used to the new people and start progressing. You just need to be patient and worry about your job as the flyer and not so much about the changes that are going on underneath you. I knows thats a lot easier said then done when these are the people responsible for catching you; but you have to trust that even if the stunt is unsteady and falls because of the new chemistry in the group, they will still catch you.

Ha yeah your right. No matter who they are if something goes wrong they will catch me.
