Locked by Sumayah (204191) on 2010-10-22 23:06:08 Contest ended a long time ago.

Ok so..I'm going to college in a little over two weeks, and the room I'm going to be in won't have a mirror. The room is too small for a standing mirror, but I need something bigger than just a compact mirror. Also, I don't want one of those vanity/magnifying/whatever their called mirrors, because part of the reason I really need this mirror is to straighten my hair everyday. Oh, and no wall mirrors, because the college doesn't let you make holes in the wall.

So what I would like is a good size mirror (big enough to see my face and hair) that can stand on my dresser.

Please include the picture of the mirror and a link to where I can find it, because if someone was to find a mirror like this, I would definetly be interested in buying it! Price doesn't matter.

Deadline is August 15th. Winner gets karma!

Have fun! :)

I'm not really interested in contests haha, but I used one of those 5' x 1' door mirrors and stuck it to the back of the door with adhesive stuff. Long mirrors like that are especially nice if you have a roommate because more than one person fits! I used to sit on the floor and do makeup while my roommate straightened her hair.

For shorter, more stylistic mirros, I would suggest scoping out Hobby Lobby or a similar store. I wouldn't want to spend too much on a mirror that isn't going to be firmly anchored into a wall....one harsh slam of a door could cause it to slip off your dresser!
