Yup, as you guessed it I want to learn how to do a back handspring. Any tips on not killing myself during the handspring? And _HOW_ to just do one in general?

The best thing to do is to get a gymnastics teacher to spend about half an hour teaching you.

Before you do back handsprings, though, you need to be able to do a back walkover: www.youtube.com . . . . Once you can do that, try doing it on a trampoline. Then try doing it on the trampoline with a little hop before you go into the back walkover, instead of pushing off one foot at a time. Then make the hop bigger and bigger, until you're jumping into the back walkover. Eventually, it should look like this: www.youtube.com . . .

Send me a message if you want any more help :) I used to be a gymnast, before I was afraid of heights, and it got too expensive, and now I'm a ballet dancer.
