Did anyone else catch Savion Glover on the Colbert Report last night? Thank you for calling tap an art. Not a sport. An art. :PPPPPP to you Gatorade. (Skip ahead to the third marker for the interview and performance).

It'll be on over there on my birthday! So set your dvr to record on 9/8 at 6am. It's the last segment of the show but he and his group are tapping a cappella and it's lovely!

Very nice acapella section, though I wish Colbert would have let him have a more in depth discussion about the art form.

I'll keep my eye out for YouTube copies of it and hopefully someone will have taped it and will post it up...

Some of that was down to editing, I'm sure. The entire segment (dancing included) went on for something like 8 minutes, and I think they danced for 5. So there just wasn't time.
