Questions about USTA??? en>fr fr>en

Some of our team members are interested in doing USTA. I've been to the USTA website, but didn't find all the info I'm looking for.

I know there are compulsories and different levels of competition. How does this work?

Can we just enter a contest?

If you are advanced in NBTA, what do you do for USTA?

I understand the membership stuff, but am confused about the actual twirling. And where can I find rules regarding routines?

Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!

1. Compulsories are required for certain competitions (i.e. Trials) and certain events (Freestyle).

2. Yes, you can enter a contest. You are required to be a member. They may still have "member for a day."

3. One should stay at the same level they compete at, no matter what organization. However, different orgs have different rules about what counts/doesn't count. I would think an advanced twirler would not feel right about starting at the lowest level anyway. It isn't fair to the true beginners. Some USTA events have restrictions on what tricks can be performed at the levels.

4. Rules are available online to Members.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the sticky. So, am I reading this right, if you're an adv nbta twirler and want to compete in usta to try and qualify for worlds, you have to go through all the compulsories starting with C up to AAA, first?
