Spoilers (karma: 1)

If you are going to reveal what happens in a movie or tv show(the story or plot) please post "SPOILERS AHEAD" in your message heading or at the top of your reply so that people don't find out what happens in a film if they don't want to. It's unfair to spoil the surprises in films or TV shows for people who might not have watched them yet, so please warn before you post spoilers.

Thanks,
Ashlee

Good thinking. I like it when someone does

SPOILER SPACE

Then puts the spoiler down here. Dont put it directly under the warning or people's eyes tend to slip and read it anyway. Always happens to me! LEAVE SPOILER SPACE! :)

People have been pretty good about that, but I agree. Make sure you give us a warning!

Thanks for that! I don't really mind hearing what like a movie or T.V show is about, but saying some things can give away the entire plot. And i love reading spoilers for T.V shows like what is going to happen in the next episode or season, but i know not everyone does, so yes please give a warning! :)

Hey that's a good idea. And when replying I don't think it should just be in the subject since I tend to not always see that, lol.

I just wanted to also add that if you are REPLYING to a spoiler that someone posted, warn people. I've seen multiple posts where someone posts the spoiler room saying Bob died at the end at the movie, and then someone will reply saying, "OMG! Bob is dead?" Well, you just gave it away to someone who skipped over the spoiler.

How about hiding your spoiler under white text??

^ That would only work in some cases. Every other reply is on white background. The other ones are on this blue color, see?

Of course, now we have the handy dandy spoiler toggle feature:

[spoiler ] SPOILER [/ spoiler]

It'll come up like this once you take out the spaces:

Spoiler: Show
Omg SPOILER!!

OMG, Krystal, that is way cool! We don't really need that in the forum I usually hang out in, but I could see how it we be useful here.

VERY good idea. I hate it when people ruin the end of a book/movie/TV show. Very considerate! (Of you for posting this, I mean.)

Completely irrelevant, but isn't "spoil" such a funny word...

One of those cases of reading a word too much so it just becomes bizarre-looking :)

That new spoiler thing is great! But I usually click it anyways because I'm too curious for my own good. :/
