Just wondering has anyone been to the B.A.L summer school in sydney held in january every year
and also what other schools have you been to?

Haven't been to the B.A.L summer school. The only one I've been to that hasn't been my local dance school's summer school is Tanya Pearson's Holiday School. The classes depended on what teacher you had, some of the teacher's were really amazing but other weren't as good. Most of the girls in my classes were very good. Overall, I got tonnes out of it. |

I'm from Adelaide and have been to the BAL summer school three times now and going again in Jan 2011 to do my Ballet teaching certificate. Having been only before they changed it to the 2 days of classes I don't think it's worth sending our students from Adleaide there now because they're there for 2 days and don't get to do the syllabus clases with all the grades in them anymore, it'd be different if you were living in Sydney of course though. So this year it's only the school principal going and me and another teacher who are going to do our certificates. I havne't been to the 2 days of classes before so I can't comment on that, but my previous experiences with BAL summer schools ahave been good.
