Join us this fall by being apart of an exciting new urban musical, WORD. The Urban Musical About the End of Hip-hop!

We are currently looking for all kinds of performers, including breakers, pop lockers, jazz steppers, singers/vocalists and pop vocalists.

We are currently looking for a cast of twenty-five.

Bring your talents and enthusiasm to this high-energy show and be a part of something new and fresh!

Auditions will be held at the Dunning Recreational Center and the schedule is as follows:

November 20th- 12pm-4pm (12pm to 2pm is the singing/reading audition.) Plan to sing a 16 bar audition piece in the appropriate style (Hip-hop, R&B, Soul, or Pop, Musical Theatre, etc.)

We may ask you to sing an excerpt from WORD, as well (music will be provided)
(2pm-4pm) is the dancing audition.
Note
November 21th - 3pm-5pm is callbacks.

Please be sure to dress in comfortable clothes that you can move in for the dance audition.
Remember to bring a water bottle.
Do not choose music you are unable to sing a cappella if asked to do so.
If you have a resume, we would be happy to see it. If not, don't worry. We will have forms to fill out in order to obtain all of the information we will need from you.

Performance dates will be announced asap (day of auditions at the latest) for your time consideration.

Performers will be compensated.

We are taking a risk to do something we love to do. We hope you can join us in the most exciting thing to happen in the Midwest. Be apart of show that may possibly tour within the twin cities and Minnesota.
