Dear all,

I am a Singaporean living in Geneva. I will be back in Singapore for Christmas vacation and I would like to continue taking ballet classes there.

I believe most schools or studios will be closed for holidays.

Do any of you happen to know any school that still offer classes from mid Dec to mid Jan?

What levels of classes are you looking for and whats your budget?

And are you looking for RAD or Open Syallabus?

I would say intermediate/avanced level (exam or open alike, here in swiss we don't do RAD though)..and lessons that allows me to pay by per class so i can go as many as i can since i won't stay for more 3 weeks so monthly fees doesn't work for me..Thanks in advance!

The only person that I know allows paying by lessons is my teacher but she is having term holidays till 9th Jan.

There is a Japanese lady who conducts adult ballet classes. She goes by ticketing system so you can choose which level to go.

You might wanna email them and ask if they still conduct classes during the Christmas period as most schools are closed!

I was wondering if SDT allowed you to pay per class? I'm from out of town as well, but will be in Singapore this coming week so am looking for somewhere that would allow me to drop in for at least one class a day and pay per class...

They didn't allow pay per class but i explained to them my situation and they sort of made an exception. So try asking them. The name of the guy in charge of the classes is Norman. He is a really nice guy.

Alternatively, you can try Attitude Dance or Cheng Ballet. =)

I live and dance in London, but am currently recovering from a minor injury so am visiting some friends in Malaysia! haha. Nope, am not Singaporean and haven't been to Singapore in about 10 years! Am rather excited for the shopping! heh.

Which classes did you take with SDT? And what were they like? Have you gone back to Geneva now?

Great! I went to London this last summer and danced at Theplace and pineapple studios. It was so cool!

Yes, I am back in Geneva now..school have started (and vacation ended).

I took the Intermediate II, Advanced I and Advanced II classes and it was fun! =)
