Celebrate; I got my first vote-to-kick yesterday. The reason it's a celebrate is because I wasn't doing anything wrong and everyone besides the tank was a friend. The tank had a problem with me requesting if he could give me a 'r' when he was ready for me to trap pull. He rage quit when the group defended me.

Vent; My brother took the cable for the Kinect to uni and thus I haven't had the Xbox on in a while. I want to get back into the dance game!

Vent 2; I want to get rid of my DS Lite.

If you sell it/trade it, here's a point of reference for you. The store I work for gives $50 in store credit or $30 cash back for a DS Lite (with stylus and charger). We're a local store and we're known for having the best credit prices, but if you go in with a number in mind, you might be able to negotiate a better price then they offer. Game Stop probably can't haggle, but Pawn Shops might. Or you can Craig's List it.

Can I tell you how much I enjoy vote to kick. I especially like it when you're running with 3-4 guildies and a pug pops off at one of them. The "reason" is usually something like "ajkshdfkjladshf" and everyone votes. It makes me laugh.

The downside is...I was in a pug once and 3 of the group were guildies. They asked if anyone was after XX piece of gear, and when I said I needed it, they booted me...before we ever fought anything! I reported them for it though.

Vent: My PS3 is busted.....It got the YLoD (Yellow Light of Death, PS3's version of RROD). I fixed it twice, but then it happened again and I rushed the job and cracked the motherboard....which new ones cost about $120.... Luckly, my Xbox is still in working order after having to fix it's own RRoD twice.

Celebrate: I got a gaming nerd tattoo recently. It's my first real tattoo (I have one really really crappy one that I need to get fixed and I don't count anyway). Unfortunately, I'm new to this site, so I can't post a picture here yet, but it's the spectre symbol from Mass Effect. I am a huge Mass Effect geek.

I haven't been on WoW much lately. I've been playing Oblivion, and I think I'm about to get Minecraft, since hubby and all his friends have a server going. I'm all about stress free right now, so even if I do play WoW it's usually dailies or just chatting.

/Squee! I was (re)playing that again last night! I approve your username. I absolutely love Mass Effect as well, my hubby got me the hoodie and I swear I wear it daily. Best. Purchase. Ever.

A friend was at a con and saw a guy who made a jacket to look like Garrus' armor in ME2. I would love to see it. Had the detailing all silk screened on. According to her, everyone wanted him to make them one, lol.

Vent: I failed the firewalker mission last night because I was too tired... I misjudged the landing and fell into acid. Whoops!

Celebrate: This isn't exactly videogame related, but I absolutely adore my Mal Solo mash-up teeshirt. I'm so wearing it today.

Discuss: I'll believe Duke Nukem will be released when I see it, ha. But I'm all for the over-the-top craziness/violence - that's what makes them fun. ^^

Lol, agreed. It's been a LONG time since we've seen ol'Duke. Now it's time to see if Bulletstorm or Duke Nukem will win the "best ridiculously awesome shooter ever" award.

Love it. I'm waiting with baited breath for Can't Stop the Serenity to come back to the Alamo Drafthouse. I want to dress up either as Kaylee in the big pink ballgown (unlikely to happen) or get a red sweater and pink skirt and some boots and dress as River and do part of the dance sequence from "Safe." Hehehe.

And if it makes you feel better, we have figures of the Mass Effect characters on order. The Dragon Age ones got here already, and we've got Master Chief, and various other toys around the house, but I want my ME action figures to get here already! *And* B's ringtone is Mordin singing Gilbert & Sullivan. It makes me smile every time he calls. So yeah, I share the obsession.

Exactly. We're not getting Shepard either. And yes, that is my ringtone. I less than three's it. My other ringtone (for general calls) is a clip from Psychonauts. It makes me lol.

Celebrate: My boyfriend is the cutest. We play LoL together a lot, and the character I play is Annie. Well, I was pouting over the fact that I couldn't buy the Alice Annie skin, and he secretly over the next few days put together an alternate skin for me. It's Annie Me! He even got all of the detail of my solo dress (Irish Dance) on there. It's adorable <3

Celebrate; Sold my DS Lite to a co-worker for her nephew. Got less for it than I might've done elsewhere but I'd rather it went to her I guess and it was less fuss.

Vent; Did a random heroic tonight and had the healer have a go at me for my sucky dps...which wasn't all that sucky. So it just made me feel bad because I was playing to cheer myself up. So now I'm sitting in Scarlet Monastery killing Herod for fun.

Need to get my kinect out again this week and do some dancing. General fitness level has gone down boo =(

Also I'm finally getting into gaming... I like expensive hobbies apparently. I'd decided to avoid games until a friend was all HEY YOU SHOULD GET STEAM COS I HAVE A FREE COPY OF PORTAL and then I got Steam and got my free copy of Portal and now I have to convince myself that buying Portal 2 once I'm done with that is not a good idea.

This is probably not the best place to announce that... right?

Mal Solo is the best thing ever, he makes me smile. And not that this will help, but ign gave Portal 2 a whopping 9.5 on a 10 point scale. Hell to the yes you should get that! But shhhhh! The cake is a lie!

^ I am going to a Portal 2 party on Saturday if school will let me. I hope school will let me.

It's funny cos I chipped in to buy my friend a companion cube plushie for his birthday, and had no idea what it was... Then I started playing Portal and I was like ZOMG I WANT ONE SO HARD... haha. Now I understand why he wanted one so badly!

So am I the only giddy one getting excited for Alice: Madness Returns? I'm a HUGE fan of platformers and the first one (American McGee's Alice) was great and I'm sooooooo psyched for this new one. What killer is they're going to offer AMcGAlice as a dlc for PS3 and X360. SWEET! No more hard computer chair, I can sit in my recliner and play.

Well I wasn't until you happened to mention it and then I looked it up and now I'm like, wow, that's totally my sort of game!

edit: So I'm looking at Dragon Age.... what to start with? Tried out the Dragon Age 2 demo and it seems alright, but should I go back to the beginning before buying that?

Dragon Age Origins and most of the dlc is an amazing play. I love it so much better than Dragon Age 2. Dragon Age 2 should have been a separately sold and cheaper expansion, not a follow up. It just doesn't have the same love and care that went into the first Dragon Age. I *highly* recommend it. Also if you like fantasy based rpg's, check out Oblivion. It's massive.

I'm currently on a gaming hiatus, because I've been watching the live action Sailor Moon and can I just say that though Saturn is my overall favorite, Jupiter is a close second and the actress Mew who plays her is frickin' ADORABLE! I'm loving it so much right now. Meanwhile B is finally playing through Fallout New Vegas, now that it's not so borked.

I wanted Oblivion but it's not compatible with my video card and changing hardware is not an option for me right now.

Games have been keeping me entertained here - there have been days where going out is not feasible - so I don't feel guilty at all for spending so much money on them. I'm pleasantly surprised by this! I finally finished Portal, I played Mount&Blade for a while (fun), moved onto the Sims: Medieval (also fun), and now I've started Dragon Age: Origins (Ultimate Edition). I am a happy little girl right now.

OLD REPUBLIC!!!! I WANTS TO PLAY IT! I want to be a Sith Inquistor. They get Force lightning nearly right off the bat!

I won the internet tonight. In Old Republic the general chat was talking about Wookiees only they were spelling it wrong and typing Wookie. I told them it's Wookiee like you spell cookiee; they persisted in typing Wookie. So I said, it's like Anne of Green Gables, the extra E on the end gives it class. Wookiee. Wook-I-double-E. I was then told of my internet winning victory. Yay!
