Here last night bars closed at 3am (like usual) but because of the daylight saving time (we had to go back an hour at 2am) we got an extra hour in the bars/clubs!

Even this insanely conservative state with crazy alcohol laws just lets bars stay open until the clock says 3am like usual even if everybody's internal clock says 4am.

I was sick this year and didn't get to go out (grr at selfish morons coming to work ill) so I missed out on watching the clocks act funny, heh. Next year, I suppose.

When I worked bars, we would close at the regular time (2 am) and then turn back the clocks after everyone clocked out. That way, the bar did not have to pay the workers an extra hour.

The places I worked at all closed at the regular time and changed the clocks after everyone left same as kandykane.

Here they turn back the clock and you get an extra hour.

When the clocks go forward you get kicked out an hour early so to speak.

We're not affected by Daylight Saving Times where I love. Muchly enjoy that since I probably wouldn't remember to change all my clocks and my alarms would be going off at the wrong time and it'd be a disaster. lol

Yer my bar over day light savings closed an hour early. It was great.

My SO's boyfriend owns a bar, and they stay opened an hour later.
