so i need to make a mermaid tail (for fun) and i need instructions and prices and material and stuff like that iv all ready made one and it goes WAY to slow so yeah please write bake with some ideas

I just watched that video and that looks REALLY complex, and I highly doubt you could make that yourself. Unless maybe you had someone to make it for you and an extra $1000 laying around..
I would just stick with the fabric (swimsuit fabric maybe?) and a monofin.

i'll make the fin type part allot wider she only made it thin because she needed to fit it in her suite case to spain and I make it wider it'll give me more propulsion and I'll paint a scale pattern on it and I might make it turquoise and now I need to now where I can get the cheapest underwater camera or camera case ( or I could make one ) and there are a few videos on how to make one 'cause I'm going to make two more and I'll give them to my friends an I'll make a movie like h2o I wont say what I'll call it because some one will seal my name for the movie

What it entails is something called a lifecast. Lifecasting can be done in a couple of methods, but still involves several people and same amount of steps.

The cliff note version to lifecasting:
Model is clean with no hair at all in the area or vaseline over some hair.
Mix either alginate or fast setting silicone and spread over area to be casted
Cover molded area with plaster bandages to support the mold (keys must be built to separate mold into two parts).
Pour plaster into mold, agitate to remove bubbles and fill in all areas
Remove plaster positive from mold and use plasticine to sculpt what is needed to be molded or remove bubbles or mistakes in mold.

Repeat the silicone mold process again to make the finished product with give the final mold.
Pour resin into final mold to make the items you need.

I've been lifecasted several times for my special effects makeup and done it to others for the same thing. If you have the persons, money and time you can do amazing things with lifecasts.

I'd suggest buying a monofin anyways and practicing with it, you don't want to try to swim in a thousand dollar mermaid tail you've designed and then find yourself drowning because you can't swim in it. Monofins are used in freediving, I believe, and I'd think you should practice.

I'd almost suggest just editing and fixing up one of those monofins with decorations or coating it. The problem will be maintaining the flexibility you'd want in a mermaid tail.
