I am a 56 year old solo Jazz dancer who loves to go to competitions. I love to perform and I will dance anywhere, anytime. I notice at the competitions that I go to, sometimes the same song is used 5, 6, 7 or more times. After awhile my eyes start to glaze over. I can't imagine what it's like for you judges. Since I grew up on 60's music and love that style of music, I will usually pick a 60's song and preferably one that either isn't played much on the radio but has a good dance beat or one that no one has heard of but has a good dance beat.
