Melbourne holiday classes wanted en>fr fr>en By Jenerator Comments: 275, member since Fri Jun 04, 2004On Thu Jan 06, 2011 04:54 AM
My daughter is 15 and is looking for somewhere to take casual classes in jazz, contemporary or ballet during the holidays so that returning to regular classes once term starts again isn't too painful.
She's spent most of this week at a dance summer school and after the first two days could barely walk! Wants to avoid that.
She's looked at The Space and maybe CDC (not sure if they're on a term break or not, or if they take 15 year olds?)
Is there anywhere else you can recommend?
We're in SE Suburbs. 2 Replies to holiday classes wanted |

fusion dance studios in fitzroy are running skeleton classes now while they are in between terms. ive seen some 14-16 year olds in contemporary and ballet. as long as your daughter doesnt mind dancing with adults, as they dont offer age specific classes in the styles you listed. you can see the timetable on their website if you google it. |

Spectrum Dance has classes from the 18th in every style. Ministry of Dance and Todd Patricks also have classes on all in Summer schools but you can do them as casual classes too. Dance Factory's classes are also running in the evenings. |
