Just found some old posts about Tia Jordan, and thought I'd throw my humble two cents in.

I've had Tia as a choreographer before, and she is exceptional. But apart from her fresh and exciting choreo, as a teacher she goes above and beyond. I've never learned so much from a teacher. Not just about the industry, but about myself as a person. The best lesson I learned was to get over myself and listen because what she has to say is helpful. Now instead of pouting when people give me criticism, I get excited to try it and I don't take things personally.
Above all, she is a remarkable person and her energy for life is contagious.
Anyone who gets to meet her or have her as a teacher/choreographer/adjudicator is a lucky person and will learn a lot.

Tia Jordan has been a very strong influence in building my career and has been a great shoulder to lean on for guidance and moral support. she has never sold to me the idea that being in this industry is easy, and i appreciate this truth! i know it takes hard work and a lot of knocks before an opportunity comes my way and Tia has always been available for advice and constructive criticism. I highly reccommend her as a teacher, she is extremely passionate about YOU as a performer and she practices what she preaches. She is constantly blogging out some great info: either what she has learnt through being a performer and what she observes around her at the moment in the industry. To add to this, she sends out some valuable links on the net to keep it fresh and inspiring and most of all, to keep going!
