I grew up in MA but studied at many studios with Balanchine, classical, and Russian forms of Ballet training. I studied with Orlando Ballet, Boston Ballet, Jillana School of Dance and CPYB. I have 5 years of experience in teaching ballet, pointe, jazz, modern and hip hop. I adore teaching children starting at 2 and I enjoy instructing adult classes as well. I am looking for a steady schedule and am available in April for summer session for the fall session and so forth. I am available to meet you personally and discuss my resume. Are you set on NC? I have a studio in Richmond with 3 locations and a full time opportunity to teach. Most importantly, I need someone to take over a classical ballet program and want to stay to nurture it for as long as possible. I see you are a student/graduate of Radford and they have a wonderful ballet program so I assume you have a strong ballet foundation. I could also fill your schedule with other classes and some beginner recreational classes. Most of my instructors work between 20 and 26 hours a week.
Please let me know if you would like more information or would like to meet with me to discuss this opportunity. dkflores@comcast.net |
