I was just wondering what kind of dances people have trouble getting out of. Personally, my next feis project is trble jig. 11 Replies to Projects for Feiseanna |

The last dances I had to win out of PW were light and single jig.
They were my worst... |

I have to work hardest to place in my hornpipe. (Championship dancers in Australia still do "grade" dancers, if that makes sense.) |

The reel has always been the last to move up. I would guess it is because it's always the first dance, before I can talk myself out of the nerves and before I'm sufficiently warmed up. Gotta work on that! |

For me it's a new modern Jig set. I need one for April and it just doesn't come together. *panics* |

Right now I'm working on getting my slip jig out of novice, but it was my traditional set and hornpipe that took forever to get out of advanced beginner, and I still havn't been placing in my novice hornpipe, so my hornpipe seems to be my worst dance. |

Well I'm in opens now and now that I think about it I never actually got my light jig or single jig out of novice but they don't have them in prizewinner anyway though. Now I'm sad.
It'd be awesome if we had a choice to do those instead of reel or slip jig at the oireachtas though. Like it would go reel one year, then slip jig the next, then light jig, then single jig. I miss those little guys |

I'm hoping to move my hornpipe out of tus at one of my next few feis'es. It and my light jig have been stuck forever in tus. Hornpipes don't seem to come up too often for me so I don't often get to dance them - both feises I have in March have tus hornpipes in them so here's hoping! |

I just used to struggle with something different every time! Reel when I first started because it was always the first one up and I was never ready. Hornlike when I moved up a few levels because we never spent much time on it in class. Then when I got to champs, everything! |

^ hornlike...brilliant! God love the iPhone and it's inappropriate autocorrect. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions there |
