I was just interested in seeing how many trophies everyone has as I've been dancing for about a year and have 4, and one of my 2011 goals is to add to my collection! Also, how long have you been dancing for to get that many?

I've been dancing about 8-9 years in total (7-8 as a child but I never attended many feiseanna) and I took 10 years out and started again last year. I have 27 trophies and have won 15 of those in the last year.

I am now out due to injury and no car so no feising for me for a while - or practice for that matter! Boo hoo

A couple of those you got beating me in Hertfordshire in October if I'm not mistaken? (I was the one in the white dress and they had to merge our age groups together):L

I have 2. I have been to 3 competitions. I am entering all the trophy specials possible now though. Theyre so much fun.

Including the ones I traded in for medals because medals take up less space, I'd say about 6 or 7.

The reason I try to avoid trophies is because I have a good 50-odd trophies from Highland and they take up so much space already.

i've been dancing for two years, competing for one and half, and i have 41 trophies. a lot of them are really small, 3rd places mostly, but i go to a lot of feiseanna so they started to add up over time.

I've been competing 4 years and I have 7 trophies - 8 if you count Best Attendance. I won the majority last year and plan to win a few larger trophies or cups this year. They're all fairly small Beginner/Primary trophies; nothing flashy yet! As much as I love the trophies and medals, I still love dancing for the fun of it. The best moment I would say was when my best friend won our section, I came 2nd, and on stage, in front of everyone, I gave her a big hug. That's what it's all about.

I have 7 trophies, and have been competing for almost a year and a half, dancing for two. I'm still rather new to trophies, so they're quite exciting. I have a lot of medals, but having a huge trophy to lug around is even more fun Five of them are from last year, for placing in Prizewinner and Trad. set, another is from Oireachtas 2009 (Trad. set), and then my most current one is from placing in Prelim. Knowing that you danced well and placed well in your category is fantastic enough, but the prizes are pretty fun too!

I have no idea for sure so I didn't vote but I'd venture to guess it's in the 40s, maybe more. I've been dancing for 20 years and competing for probably 13 total of that (sometimes life gets in the way, sadly). When I first started competing, there were often small trophies given for first place for any of the grades dances so I have a lot of those. I do have a couple of trophies that mean more to me, of course. My favorite is my first prelim win from Rince Reno 2008. It's definitely my biggest one.

Two or three. I have one that I don't really count because I was the only dancer in that competition.

I have one! 3rd Place in Adult Reel Special, Pan Pacific Championships and Feis, July 2009. ^__^ I reeeeealy would like to win another trophey someday.

I have 42 (I think) and have been competing for a year. My dad always says I need to donate them... but i like how they look in my room!

I got to like 29 and stopped counting because I got bored.

Haven't added many in the past year or two, though. I plan on rectifying that this year.

I have exactly 52. I am really bored right now so I decided id count. I have been dancing for almost 7 years and have been competing for about 5 and 1/2. Ugh I am so frustrated because I just found out that my little brother stole my trophy from the last feis! But I will get it back... !

I have 10. There weren't very many awarded for what I've competed in, and I only did a few trophy specials towards the end of last year. Got my 10th and final trophy at my final feis! It worked out well

I have 37... only problem is that i am running low on places to put them all (I only have one little shelf)

Quite a few. I have been dancing for a long time though, so they accumulate!!! I have donated some of the less important (ie, ones that didn't have as much meaning to them, like my last first to bump me up to PC) ones so I have room for some of my newer ones. I do keep all of my medals though.

I'm only in PW and have only been competitivly dancing for 2 1/2 years, but in my region, about half the feiseanna that I have gone to give out trophies. I have somewere between 30-50 trophies, but I got bored of counting after 29.

Only a few trophies are in dd's room--the rest are in a closet in the basement and after a while we just stopped picking them up at a feis. I hope that doesn't sound ungrateful but we just don't want to store so many. We always picked up the medals, though--love those. DD's sister has tons of ribbons from running her doggies in agility--every beautiful color you can imagine and a sticker on the back that lists her and her dog's time, faults, placement and judge--perfect reminders. They frame the mirror on her dresser. I would have loved ribbons like these for grades but I know some children really do love their trophies.

I voted for 1-10, mainly because I'm only advanced beginner/novice, so the trophies aren't as huge. It's fun to look at my collection!

I only have one! (Hehe) Why? For participation! I dance for a year when I was 5 so I got that one then... Now I'm dancing again. I heard I'm going to get a "Banana Split award" for having my full splits this year at the awards banquet. That counts... right?

I have none, haven't been to a feis yet, been dancing for a few weeks over a month.
