I'm just curious...no reason, really

I take a shower every day, some times even two times a day. I have to wash my hair every day because of the oil build up that I get. I tried to "train" my hair to stop becoming so oily, but I had no such luck...so back to washing it every day it became. For the second shower, sometimes it basically is just to wash my body off after a long sweaty day.

I shower every night, occasionally skipping maybe a Friday or Saturday night if I get home really late. I usually wash my hair because I have really oily hair, and don't use conditioner each time either.

Generally it is once a day, often in the evening but also sometimes in the morning before going to work. And that includes shampooing. If I didn't exercise every day (either ballet, Jazzercise, or both) I might make it less, especially the shampoo. However, I just can't set off to work with my hair laden down with sweat and oil. And if I am really stinky I don't want to go to bed with my husband that way.

Usually I shower every night before bed. Anymore, though, when I'm home from college, I take to showering when I wake up.

At any rate, 9 times out of 10, I'm showering once every night. If somehow my "schedule" gets messed up (like Friday night I was at a sleepover so I showered Saturday morning when I got back), I'll wait another day so I can shower at night again. I like my routines.

My showering schedule is pretty weird. I shower every day for the most part, unless I'm just bumming around the house. Usually, though, I'm too lazy to do it in the morning before class, so I'll shower when I get home from my classes. Weird? Possibly. I always forget at night, or get sidetracked until it's really late, so I end up just looking like hell for school and then showering and getting presentable afterward. I'm not enough of a morning person to shower in the morning and still be on time for my 9:30 class.

Every day, but I don't wash my hair every time.

Sometimes I will shower twice a day - if it's been a particularly hot or sweaty day, or if it's a hair washing day. I don't wash my hair in the mornings because I am not organised enough to get it washed and dried and styled before school, so I wash my hair in the evenings, to allow time to dry it before bed.

Some days I won't shower at all, if I am not going anywhere or doing anything or don't feel particularly dirty I just won't bother.

But I probably shower 355 out of 365 days a year.

Daily evening showerer here...if there's one thing of mine I can call a 'phobia', OCD or whatever, it's getting into bed with dirty feet. I just cannot hack it *shudder*

I shower on average once a day, but I don't wash my hair every time. I normally shower in the morning as I hate going to bed with wet hair but I'll shower at night if I've had a particularly hard dance class, I just won't wash my hair.

I was actually talking to a girl the other day who only showers twice a week. She reckons that she doesn't sweat and therefore only needs to shower twice a week. She actually goes to the gym with me and I see her almost everyday so I cannot believe that she reckons she doesn't sweat. The worst part is that she smells and doesn't seem to notice! I tried suggesting she may want to shower more often and she freaked out at me, calling me a clean freak! To each their own I guess.

At least once a day, but my hair every other day otherwise it goes static and sticks to my face. Very irritating.

I feel utterly disgusting if I don't wash properly everyday, particularly as I go to the gym regularly.

I shower every morning but don't wash my hair every day. Sometimes if it's been a hot day I'll have a shower before bed but not wash my hair.

^^seriously twice a week? That is beyond disgusting.

I shower once a day. In the morning or early afternoon (whenever I leave for work). I was my hair everyday. I have extremely oily hair and it looks so gross if I don't wash it. Probably 3 to 4 times a week I shower twice a day. If I sweat a lot at work or I worked out really hard. I hate going to bed stinky. If I shower more than once a day I don't wash my hair the second time.

That twice a week thing is disgusting. I can't think of a nice way of telling her she stinks and needs to shower. Good luck with that.

I have long, dryish hair that doesn't need to be washed more than twice a week if I want it to stay healthy, but I shower and bathe often twice a day in the winter because I'm so cold all the time and addicted to hot water- never mind getting clean, hahaha, it's just a side effect of glorious warmth. In the summer, it's just daily unless I've been outside getting dirty or sweaty.

I live in the Caribbean, so showering every day is basically law. I usually shower twice a day, more often if I come home between classes or running errands.

When I lived in Queensland I would take two showers each day. One in the morning, before anything else, and one in the evening.

Living in Victoria I tend to, as a general rule of thumb, shower once in the morning at least. An evening shower is dependant on whether it's been a hot day or if I've done work in the garden/anything strenuous.

I wash my hair every two/three days.

I can go into more detail but may get banned.

I take a shower every night at bedtime. I can't stand the thought of going to bed without first bathing. I wash my hair sometimes every day, sometimes every ever day.

As for the showering only twice a week-all I can say is EEWW! How can anyone possibly stand to bathe that rarely?

I bath/shower 1/2 a day. But i don't wash my hair as much as i don't want to damage it, i can go a few days with out it getting greasy at all!
But appart from that im constanlty either in water, or cleaning my body with baby wipes haha!!!!
I also have a strict routine for when i get out shower/bath

Every night. And I wash my hair every second or third day (unless I've been swimming). I would shower in the morning, but I like sleep and don't have enough time to do both and be human (not to mention, my hair would dry really weirdly).

When I was younger I used to skip days here and there, but if I do that now, I feel skuzzy and sluggish the next day.

And we had some pretty tight water restrictions here, so I'd feel guilty if I used more than my daily quota of water for a second shower.

I shower once in the morning after my morning workout/stretching. And then I shower off again after my after dinner workout this is only to wash off the sweat from the long workout.

I guess I'll be the first to admit in writing that I don't shower every day. I wash my hair about 3 times a week, meaning I shower those days obviously. I have one non-hair-washing shower a week, and then 1-2 baths a week. It's winter, I'm a lazy slacker who doesn't work out so I don't sweat. In the summer, I shower or bathe every day though, it's wickedly hot!

Just coming back to this thread, and saw this. I'm in Victoria, Australia, and for a couple of years, we had tight water restrictions due to drought. As in they were pumping water from the food belt to supply the city (something I disagreed with, incidentally, because the food belt was hit harder and on even tighter restrictions than the city was), banning the watering of lawns/gardens and the washing of cars with anything but recycled, bucketed water, no filling of pools without permission from the council and so on. Households were "encouraged" to use less than 155 litres of water per person per day, and people were strongly urged to have 4-minute or less showers.

We've had some good rains and even floods now, and the dams are filling up, but it's become an ingrained habit now - short showers, once a day only, and bucket the waste water onto the veggie patch.

I shower more often than every other day, but less often than every day.

If I wash my hair every day, it gets dry and damaged and brittle and is a real mess. If, however, I shower without washing my hair, even if I use a shower cap, the humidity causes my hair to get oily and gross. So if I shower, I must wash my hair. So basically, I shower about 5 or 6 days a week. I always shower Friday afternoon, so that my hair is dry and clean for Shabbat. I don't shower again until Saturday night, after work. (Shabbat ends Saturday night, and then I work, and I shower when I get home from work. So it's technically Sunday morning.) I shower Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday after work, but on Wednesday nights, I may or may not shower depending on my plans for Thursday. Likewise, Thursday I usually do not shower, unless I've been working out or gotten really sweaty and gross. (Thursday is usually not a workout day, though, because it's my day to catch up on all my other errands.)

So. Not quite daily. But not quite every other day either.
