I shower about 5 times a week. I am having trouble with hair loss due to rapid weight loss, so I try not to wash my hair more than a few times a week.

I shower two time a day everyday!!!! but i have african-american hair that dries out if i wash it too much, so only once a week!!

Can I just say that I'm SO jealous of everyone who only has to wash their hair twice per week? I have fine, thin, oily hair, and I have to wash it AT LEAST once per day. On long days, I have to wash it twice.

I get bad oil build up in my hair, so I have to shampoo it every day. And since I put a lot of stuff in it- hair wax, gel, spray ect. ect. I sometimes I have to shampoo twice.

I like to shower every day, anyway. It just feels good and clean.

I shower every day, but in the summer, I tend to shower a couple times a day. I really only wash my hair if it's oily looking, and I can't manage to make it look decent if I'm going out in public. I have a lot of hair, so it tends to get oily quicker. I also blow dry & straighten it quite often. I find that I can usually go a day between washings if I leave it alone, but if I ouch it or style it too much, I have to wash it every day.

I don't wash my hair every day because my doctor said that this actually hurts your hair in the long run.

I'm a wash-hair-and-shower every other day person. It did get to the point last week that two consecutive showers were at the swimming pool, but hey.

And everyone who says they have to wash their hair every day or it's too greasy... Not necessarily true. If you wash your hair every day, I believe, then it starts to need washing every day.

1-2 times a day. I shower once on most days but 2 days a week I get very sweaty doing my job and shower in the a.m and p.m. over the weekend I admit I usually skip a day of full showering and take a bath and don't wash my hair unless I do something physical because I am a VERY sweaty person.

I shower at least once a day at night, and if I skip a day, I'll shower in the morning and at night the next day.

If I try to not wash my hair, I'll end up with a sweaty scalp after being in all that hot water. Plus, I live in Florida, and if you go a day without sweating, it's a miracle, so your hair gets gross...

I can't really sleep unless my hair is wet. I think it keeps my head cool.

I voted once a day but sometimes I shower more than once. I won't wash my hair during the second shower though. If I showered before work and feel really gross when I get home from work then I will shower again. I will also take a second shower if my back was really hurting during my shift. So it just depends on what has been happening during the day. I always make sure to shower and wash my hair everyday. I could not go out in public without showering. Plus with the type of hair I have it is not a good idea for me to go out without washing my hair. I would have some major 80's hair going on.

I shower everyday, I go swimming after university everyday so I have a shower then as well, I wash my hair at least once a day, because I have very oily hair and if I didn't wash it it would look revolting. I shower every morning I would not be able to wake up otherwise also I like to have my breakfast (up and go) in the shower which is relaxing. when I was in high school I tried to wash my hair in the evening but then I felt disgusting getting ready the next day for school. Oh and I also have to blow dry it after I have a shower because I have long hair and it gets cold

I HAVE to have a shower in the morning, otherwise I feel really dirty through the day, and a shower in the morning also wakes me up. Most nights I will have another shower as I love going to bed just after having one as I love the feeling of having really clean feet in bed (weird I know haha). I don't normally shampoo and condition my hair when I have a shower before bed.

At weekends when I'm going out I'll have a shower and wash my hair in the morning, and then get another shower before I start getting ready for a night out, again I'll wash my hair.

I take a shower once a day. Sometimes two if its summer because it gets humid and gross. Also i wash my hair every 2-3 days. My hair doesn't get oily and not much dandruff but when i do wash my hair I wash it with two shampoos and one conditioner.

So everyone's going to have to take of their judge-y hats for this, but I shower once a week. My skin has always been clear and my hair is healthy and shiny, only tending to be oily on the last day. I have never had any complaints about me smelling and I have some incredibly bluntly honest friends who have told me other things about myself that weren't so positive, so I have full faith they would tell me, plus I've had conversations with them about it (because yes, they all think it is gross too, but they admit they don't notice at all).

It's the way I've been all my life. I hate the way my skin feels and the way my hair behaves the 24 hours following a shower.

I shower and wash my hair every other day. I have very thick hair, and washing it every day just makes it look gross, so it only need to get washed every other day. I could probably push it to 3 but I'd feel kinda gross. I also have really dry skin, so showering everyday would make it terrible. Like the above poster, I've have convos with those close to me about smelling and no one has ever noticed anything. So I feel confident I don't reek lol

I shower pretty much everyday unless I'm not doing anything and feel really lazy. I wash my hair every day or every other day with conditioner only and shampoo it once a week, if I shampooed every day my hair would be soo dry but it would also be too dry if I didn't condition it that often :/

I shower every day, mostly in the mornings in winter and nights in summer. It's almost a one-bound leap from my bed to the shower on winter mornings here... I just don't cope for the rest of the day if I'm not warmed and woken.

It sounds really gross but...I shower whenever I need it.

One day, I might need two or so showers a day, on the weekends I might not until I need to go somewhere. I'm lucky in that I don't get B.O. none of my immediate family really does, either.

My hair (down to my tailbone) also takes FOREVER to dry, so a wash it as least as possible. I also wash my scalp much more often than my length (every 3-4 days or when it starts getting lank and greasy looking).

I wash my hair every time I shower, and typically shower every other day. If it's summertime and hot out, or if I'm dancing a lot (or both), I'll step it up, but my hair and skin get pretty dried out. I've had a couple people tell me that I always look clean... I don't think so, but I'm glad they do!

I shower and wash my hair every other day. I wash my hair with shampoo twice a week and with conditioner the other days, unless it's unusually dirty (usually from product).

I TRY to take a shower every day or at least every second day, but lately I really have no personal hygene. well, I do but it's getting really bad I don't think I showered at all last week! EEK

Every day, in the morning. I limit to 5 mins if I can.

I shower everynight before bed. If I fall asleep without showering I have horrible nightmares and wake up at about 2 or 3 am and then race to the shower. I dont know why but I just cant realax and properly sleep unless I'm freshly showered.

I also wash my hair everynight. I have somewhat oily hair and even if it's not oily, unless its squekey clean I don't like the feel of it.
