Just curious!

It really varies for me, it's not uncommon for there to be only one or two other dancers in my competitions but once or twice a year I can be competing against 20+ dancers. I voted 0-9 because thats about the average number in my competitions.

Dancing as an adult, I often only have a few people competing with me. A few feiseanna are pretty good and I can have a dozen other dancers, a couple times I was the ONLY dancer for all my dances. But hey, I got all gold medals!

Well, I'm just new to prelims, but my friend has been in that age group/level for a few years, and typically for feis there are between 15-25 people in our competitions. I'm sr. ladies in the ECR.

I was on feis where I had 1 or 2 other competitors. But I also had more than 20 competitors on other feis ...

Im in opens and theres usually only 3-5 people every time or its just me or with one other person .

In my Primary sections, it's generally under 5 people, but on one occasion, I had 7 people in that section and happened to win. But in my Premiership/Championship section there are usually 8, I think. Sometimes changes, but like I said, usually 8.

For me being an and over dancer, usually 0-9, but I have had up to 16 people (it was 12&0)

It is variable. Often in our region, Opens has two age groups combined in each competition. When this is the case, there is between 10-20. If it is a single age group, usually between 9-15 on average.

I voted 0-9, but in my age group there is a huge range, at my last feis I did have some dances with 20 competitors. About ten is more usual, but I also used to be the only person in my competition very often, when I was advanced beginner.

I'm in over 15 novice and open prizewinner.

I am under thirteen Prelim, and my competitions usually have around forty girls and boys. I wish I could go back to the days of having 20 people in a competition.

Well, I am on my first solo (but it is getting too short!! :'( i am so sad...) and I have had it for about a year. (I don't know how many feiseanna i do in a year.)

Can't remember the last time I had less than 40 in my solo comp!
