Rolling through Straddles?

My teacher wanted us to roll through ours and nobody in my class can seem can do it. I am so close, I have been dancing the longest in my class and I dont know what to do!

It's all about momentum, the wider the straddle, the easier to roll onto your stomach. Try rocking back and engaging your core to get the momentum, and also you can use your hands. situate one behind you and one in front and once you're up, just crawl your hands through and you'll land on your stomach. Hope this helps

start on your back, legs tuck to your chest, swing forward and as you open your legs to a straddle put your elbows and hands on the floor togheter and push up. this way you strighten your back and roll with both legs in the same position. you can swing two or three times before rolling to gain momentum
