^I just had an anxiety attack looking at that picture!

When I get on the bowl, I don't want anyone in there or even right outside talking to me. My version of 'privacy' is not healthy, though. I'm extreme with how much I don't want anyone else around me during that time. I got backed-up constipated when my son was younger and insisted on being with me all of the time because I couldn't 'go' while he was standing there looking at me with those big eyes! Yes, I know I have a problem. I'm trying to fix it, lol!

I decided to start barricading the door. Hubby retaliated by also barricading the door when he goes (which for some unknown reason he seems to think is punishment or fairness but I NEVER go in there when he is doing his business so it's actually giving me what I want). Problem solved, I guess.

OK, seriously? Why don't you just go to the hardware store and get a cheap simple lock? It will be like less than $5, and less than 5 minutes.

Ok seriously why would I risk breaking my lease over a $5 lock?

I'm glad to hear it's resolved, even if there is some tension surrounding the issue. Now you can do your business with privacy!

Why would it break your lease? A hook and eye is just two little holes, easily filled in and repainted over, totally no big deal, and I doubt the owner of the building would be upset over a lock on the bathroom door anyway.

But whatever, you're the one who has to go in and barricade your bathroom door every time you have to pee, not me. I'm just sayin' you could save yourself a lot of aggravation.

^Tunie, why bother pushing it? She's clearly found a solution that works for now, and it's really not worth going for a hook-and-eye when barricading the door seems to have done the trick. Chill.

I love the stick thingy DJ4 put on here. If your hubby gets annoyed that you're using it you could always whack him with it!! He'd sure get the message then!
