hey all i just thought i would post these beautiful pics of midlifecrisis from the WIDA europeans in berlin

the first pic is of her winning the hornpipe at the european feis i thought she danced lovely and looked so confident onstage

the second picture is taken with her lovely daught who is a beautiful dancer, although she didn't recall sh did dance a blinder and i thought she was fantastic and i hope that she will go far in irish dance.

all in all it was a lovely weekend and great to meet up with fellow DDNers who are also great friends (even if i did spend the whole time making midlifecrisis more nervous than what she already was lol) i look forward to future feiseanna where we can have a good time, (next year we will have to pop for a cheeky drink lol)

Thank you all!! I really wasn't expecting them to call me up first, as the girl to my left normally beats me!! So its a mix of shock and pure delight!!
A few minutes later I realized I'd have to learn a new hornpipe. Doh!!
I love the pic of my DD and I have had keyrings made of it, normally we compete at completely different times of day so its the first picture of us both done up together!! I put the picture up on facebook and my husband didn't recognize me all dollied up, those wigs sure do take years off you!!
Not to shabby for turning 40!!!! (hence my name on this board!!)

The expression on your face in the first photo is brilliant - surprise, delight, shock, but I'm sure you deserved it.

I love you daughter's tiara, it's gorgeous!
