GDA’s 9,000 square foot building features an engaging space design reflective of today’s dance, arts, and cultural community. Two convenient entrances are located in the front as well as private entrances in the rear of the building. An inviting lobby is furnished with comfortable modern furnishings, plasma television, wi-fi internet access, and a beverage/lounge area. The facility also includes spacious bathrooms with showers and plenty of free parking. The facility features four State-of-the-Art dance studios with viewing windows and sprung floors, portable and fixed ballet barres, sound system, heating and air-conditioning.
The facility is located in the heart of the popular area of Midtown West. Traditionally known for its industrial history, Midtown West has recently become a trendy neighborhood with new commercial, retail, and residential developments with well-known retailers, popular restaurants, and hot spots such as Bacchanalia, JCT Kitchen, Ambra, Panagea, and Taqueria del Sol. GDA is less than one mile from the new shopping district at Howell Mill & I-75, only 2.5 miles from Atlantic Station, has easy access to the I-75/85 Connector, 10th, 14th and 17th Streets, and is convenient to Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead, and the Cumberland Mall area.
