After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to step down from my position as moderator at Dance.net. I am off to pursue new opportunities that don’t exactly match up with the time and effort involved in moderating the site, and think it’s generally time to move on.

Each and every one of the mods that I was able to work with, both in the past and present, have been really special people and it was really a privilege to tackle every mod request with you all.

Dance.net was a great place for a sheltered teen to get unvarnished answers about things I would have never brought up with my parents, and I thank each and every one of you who read the ramblings in my diaries, responded to my threads with great advice and became my friends over the almost 10 years I’ve been on the site. Please keep in touch.

I dearly hope you'll stay in touch in normal-DDN member capacity! You have some of the best posts of anyone around. Best wishes for everything that's coming up, and thanks for being such a brilliant mod!

We will miss you as a mod Dani. I hope you can find the time to still keep in touch as a normal member, but I completely understand how sometimes life doesn't allow time for that sort of thing. Regardless, I hope you find lots of success and fulfillment in whatever you are pursuing next or wherever life may take you. Thanks for all the time and effort you have given to us here on DDN.

I love the humor you bring to the mod squad. I say we just keep you on as an honorary member...you can keep your colors but you don't have to do any of the grunt work!
