What an amazing and inspiring story! Thanks for sharing...what a character! That is seriously so cool. I really admire him.

I searched the Internet for more, apparently a couple of years ago he danced the role of the woodcarver in Prokofiev's "The Stone Flower" with Ely's Lantern Dance Theatre. There is a little video clip here:
