Here is a photo of my daughter wearing the school dress. Adults have a different school dress that I don't have. It is the Painter-Larson Academy of Irish Dance in Southern CA. |

These are ours from Scoil Rince i Muir (North East England Region).
We're getting headbands instead of the fabric tiara things, which is good, when I wore a school dress I never had one of the matching things so I made my own headband anyway.
(I really need to get around to saluting!) |

This was our original school dress. (Beaton School of Irish Dance) It looked very nice on adults or kids. We still use it if we have it. Our current dress is a jumper. I don't think it would look good on adults, but it does look good on the kids. |

My school is Scoil Rince Aoife ni Fhionnagain. This is our class costume (picture 1). The second picture is the back of our alternative costume, worn sometimes for teams and by the older dancers.
I'm enjoying seeing everyone's class costumes |

1. The front
2. The back (almost).
They're brilliant and easy to dance in, but they make it hard to hide my dodgy posture!

Teelin School dress, Southern Region, USA, Maryland
This is the new one the girls started wearing a couple years ago now. Used to be red.
We also have an alternative costume, that our advanced beginners and adults wear. |

These are the dresses I'm involved with.
The DCDA (Dutch Celtic Dance Academy) is my own school and I have both a beginner/first feis outfit, which is a black top with DCDA in crystals and a black skirt; and a green-gold jumper with white blouse for the school dress.
IDA Eindhoven (Irish Dance Academy Eindhoven) is the school I dance with (in CRN you can continue feising and be a teacher), and this is our school jumper. Actually, this woman is wearing my old dress, since we don't do ceili and I only wear my solo now. |
