Not a parent using my magical mod powers here, but you're gonna need more info than that. Are they still on the duck? Is it those hair feathers? Is it for a costume? Because the way you clean a live duck is not going to be the same advice as the way you clean hair extension feathers. Just sayin'. |

Lol, well, that is where duck feathers come from and they are a pig to get out of a duck when you pluck them because they're a water fowl. |

As usual, your answer lies in an internet search.
Regretfully, most of the articles presume that the feathers are loose; fresh from the bird; and still have their natural protective oils - but not all of the articles.
These three are from the first page of a google search:
How to Clean Feathers and Feather-Covered Objects
Feather Cleaning Without Water
www.associatedcontent.com . . .
This article at least presumes that the feathers have been made into an object with feather adornments:
www.ehow.com . . .
reviews.ebay.com . . . 2130181
Hummingbird, I am surprised at you! A hummingbird certainly should be able to tell someone how to clean feathers. |

My sister used to have a feather costume, (she's a disco dancer) and my mum used to dip them in water, (I'm not sure if she used any type of product on them if you need PM me and I can ask her exactly what she did) and it is scary at first because the costume literally looks like a dead bird lol but you just have to dry the feathers with a hairdryer and they come up beautifully
