Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to find Twirling Competitions in Texas. I really want to compete, but my studio doesn't compete. I have competed before, and I am going to try to get my coach to help me choreograph for next year.

And also, anything I might need to know going as a solo?

twirltacular is having a competition next year in May. go to twirltacular.com. Entry form will be the same. you can see what they offer. Fun competition without the fuss and muss and drama that some organizations and their judges thrust into the sport.

What part of TX are you in?

Next year (2012) Twirltacular will be May 12 in Houston. Also, AAU JO Games will be in Houston. I know I'm trying to get a AAU Texas state qualifer competition to happen.

April 21 - San Antonio, Texas, Pat Montgomery, Director
June 15 and 16 - TEXAS STATE, Lubbock, Texas
There is also a summer twirl camp in San Antonio in June. Tentative date for that is June 25-28.
