About Actors Scene Unseen Actors Scene Unseen has produced cutting-edge and award-winning theatre for over 8 years. Actors Scene Unseen is a member of the Grammy Recording Academy and produces audio works and live dramatic and musical events.
Award-winning Actors Scene Unseen will be holding by-appointment auditions for exceptional male and female musical actors for its production of Crystal Ballroom: The Musical at the Booth Playhouse in September 2011. Crystal Ballroom: The Musical is a new Rock book musical featuring the music of new wave legend Joe Jackson. Jackson’s extensive catalog includes the hits “Steppin’ Out”, “It’s Different for Girls”, “I’m the Man”, “On Your Radio”, and “Nineteen Forever”. Crystal Ballroom: The Musical is being performed under exclusive license by Jackson’s management and Sony ATV.
Musical actors should have an appreciation of, and a vocal style suitable for Rock, Pop, and new wave music. The dance styles are show, modern, and ballroom.
Actors Scene Unseen still has a few principal roles and roles in the ensemble:
- Male to play 18 to 45 singer/dancer
- Male to play 18 to 30 singer
- Male to play 16 to 21 singer/dancer
- Male / Female ensemble roles (sing and/or dance)
