I've never heard of this store, but I will definitely look for it when I move to college. I was so curious though, especially when Jazz said she liked to pretend to be a mermaid with the Big Blue bath bomb, I looked up a video on youtube. I must admit I have wasted a good 30 minutes listening to easy listening new waveish music and watching bath bombs explode in various tubs. So addicting, I can't even imagine owning one!

I love the bubble bars as you can usually get 4 to 5 baths out of them or for a little bit of luxury I use a bath float - again cut in half and enough for 2 baths.

Since I have been travelling I only use Lush's Seanik shampoo they last me about 3 to 4 months on average and are so good for travelling. Just got to remember to dry them out properly.

I have a few Lush products and they are awesome! They've been misplaced during my move, though, sadly. My roomie got me a $15 gift card to Lush and I was able to get 4 things, so I thought it was pretty reasonably priced. They had some great buy one get one free sales when I was there last.

I also cut the bath bombs in half.

I like the Therapy massage bar, especially how it smells like you could just eat it up.

I also have the Up You Gets emotibomb. It smells pretty good and like half the apartment smells like it after I use it. The first time I used it I thought it was an exfoliating bar so I scrubbed with it and MAN IT HURT. I was telling my roommate all about how bad it hurt and then I found out it wasn't for exfoliating hahaha.

My faves are Honey I Washed the Kids soap - the most heavenly scent on earth - and Angels on Bare Skin facial cleanser. I love bath bombs, but I hardly ever take baths anymore... my favourite was the butterball one...

I really like the Curly Wurly shampoo - it's really coconutty, and made my hair really soft, but the Trichomania shampoo was really good too.

I'm trying to decide whether I want to try out the henna products - has anyone tried them out?

Will Start with this: www.lush.co.uk . . . And now you all want to come to the uk, just to use a lush spa!!! :P

I could write a review for most of their products. All the face masks, All the soaps, All the shampoos, about half the conditioners, most of the bubble bars, and a few of the bath bombs. (I don't tend to appreciate bath bombs, so I don't bother with those.) I'm allergic to some of the lip balms, but I can't figure out what ingredient. Love them though. Pity! Also a pity is that I'm almost out of my christmas shower gel (snow fairy) so I'm having to ration it. I need to remember to buy two big bottles next year! (This year.) I also really need to buy more enzymion, I'm using my winter moisturiser that I have leftover (paradise regained) and I need enzymion for the summer, but I prefer to go in and it's so far to go to Belfast for no other reason!

What do people think of the shower emotibombs?? I have one in my cupboard that was a gift, waiting to be used... I think they just wander down the drain, but no matter!

coccinella - Keep the shampoo bar as dry as possible and it won't leave goop everywhere. I find that if I keep it in a shampoo tin, and whatever side I use goes air-side in the tin (I don't use the lid) and I keep it above the shower head. I rotate the side I use daily. Generally stops them disintegrating and going everywhere but my hair.

I don't like the smell of charity pot. I hate rose scented things. It's the only reason I won't buy it, it's just such a waste when I'm not going to use it.

Puss, I use angels on bare skin too! Though I decided to buy ocean salt last time I was in, and I can't wait to get back to the angels... My skin doesn't appreciate the salt anymore, though it did when I was 19.

DeStijl, I would recommend buying a few things online at first, that way you don't have to go in, and you can experience how wonderful their products are, and then you'll want to go in, to choose what to get!

PinkPearl, with the shampoos, you shouldn't get a residue. Just wet your hair, rub one round your head (about three or four circles on the crown) and then just use your fingers to scrub as if you have liquid shampoo, and the lather will come. Maybe it's your water? When I'm in Edinburgh, I buy the "soft" more, because of the water, and it lathers so easily there, but if I take it home, I need to use another circles worth.

Pharma, I tried the henna, it's messy, and I was surprised when it didn't stain my saucepan, (though that's because I washed it pretty sharpish) it left my hair fantastically soft, but it smells so bad!!! As for the intensity of the colour, that depends on which of the four you use, and your natural colour. I'm quite dark, and I opted for the marron, which left a nice hint of red, but not loads.

Depends. I first started by using Lush Henna. I'm a dirty blonde naturally and used Rouge. The stain isn't really strong. It turned my hair orange and then by the second and third times it got a bit darker then I started using BAQ henna (which is much cheaper, way better stain and MUCH nicer to use). But since it's full of butters to make it a bar it does work nice as a hair treatment. Makes your hair super soft. It is hell to wash out though because it's got all this gritty crap in it. My way of washing it out was to fill a bucket full of water with some conditioner and soak my hair in it and repeat until most of it is out then use a crap load of conditioner to get the rest out.

Also, if you're using the Marroon or Brun or Noir DON'T USE BOILING WATER! Those bars are a mix of indigo and henna to get different shades and boiling water kills the indigo so you will get almost no dye from it. The Rouge you can add boiling water to though because it's straight henna.

If you have any more questions, just ask. :)

Take a big knife and put it an inch into the bathbomb. Put the knife in where the two halves meet to make a circle. You kind of have to make "slicing motions" to get it into the first inch.

Then take a heavy book, brick, etc and hit the knife You will get a clean cut.

Okay, so I know I'm digging up an old thread, but this thread is what made me go into the Lush the other day and I got some stuff to see if it helps my face. It's been about a week and it's already looking better! :) I just got a small soap, so I'll DEFINITELY be going back for more when I run out! Finally something that doesn't make my face peel AND is helping with break outs!

I have loved LUSH for years, and now I WORK there! It's absolutely amazing, by far best job I've ever had! It's so awesome knowing you're working for a company with SUCH good intentions. The number one thing I love and always brag to customers is that lush extends their hand to hundreds of charities all over the world, through their 'peace' massage bars for example, or charity pot! I don't even have a bath so I can't use any bath products (however, i stock up for when i travel ;]). At the end of the day people can smell me from 10 ft away. On the subway home I actually get people coming up to me asking if I work at lush ahahah.

^I so want to work there, but I know it's a bad idea. They'd get all my money. ;)

I plan on treating myself to all my favorite products today. We get off early from work, so I'm going to pop down and pick up some things. I'm thinking some Ocean Salt, a few bubble bars (I'm addicted to The Comforter), & some bath bombs. Yay bath time!

LUSH was just listed as #34 on a list of top companies to work at in the Greater Toronto Area - cool!

I LOVE LUSH stuff. Ive been using it for almost three years now.

My staples are the Coalface cleanser, the Tea Tree Toner, and the Vanishing Cream moisturizer.

I really want to order the coconut and lime salt scrub. Might add that into the mix on my next order!

I always order online, Ive never been in a store - shipping is only $6 which is nice. We don't live near a store (likely more han $6 in gas to get to one) but hubby drives past one on the way to work and his base is a few minutes away from one as well - so I should send him on a mission for me!

^If he's sensitive to scent, it'll do his head in, hah. I like the Lush store at the mall, but it does definetly have a distinct aroma.

^^I don't have a problem on a random evening trip to Lush when it's not really that busy, but around the holidays it was just as bad if not worse than going into Yankee Candle! I could hardly breathe and just felt terrible.

I'm still loving their face soap. My skin isn't perfect, but its better than it was!!!!!

I have never heard of Lush! Where have I been? LOL I am going to check them on-line. Are the scents really that good? I have a very sensitive nose so when I go to the mall and are in a store w/all the perfume counters and scents, I almost gag and I have a horrible headache. I have to get out. Once I tried on something on my wrist that was supposed to smell like oranges, which is a scent I love. Citrus. It was okay at first but then it started to really bug me. The scent changed or something. I couldn't wait to get home so I could wash it off. I thought I washed it off but it took me 2 or 3 washes before I totally got rid of the smell. No one else could smell it anymore but me. Believe me, that was something I would never buy.

Will let you know what I think when I check out the site.
