Hello everyone!! I just recently made a raffia hip hei which I am actually proud of. It came out nice (in my opinion), not trying to brag here.... ANYway, I am at a loss as to what kind of headpiece to wear to match the raffia! Does anybody have any suggestions? I would really like to be able to make it myself. Thanks!!

Make one that matches the hip hei. I really like the ones where the raffia trails down the back of the loose long wildish looking hair and blends with it.

You can use an accent color in the head piece along with your raffia (flower, fabric or seashell) to complement whatever color pareo you're pairing with your haku. www.google.com . . .

Or you can make one of those big artistic head pieces. Feathers are a big deal in these! Some people like to add feathers to their hip piece to compliment it:
