We all know that there is an amazing phenomenon of the ladies of DDN getting engaged in threes.....

I'M ENGAGED!!!!! Where are the other two lovely ladies?

Story:
J slept over Saturday night and got up a little on the early side for him, we then went out and bought random house supplies since we get possession of our house on Thursday. He asked if he could make me dinner, so we went to the grocery store, picked up a bottle of wine and went back to his parents place. His brother an g/f were taking his parents out for drinks to celebrate their anniversary, which was yesterday. Nothing seemed the least bit out of place.

J made his specialty, chicken cordon blue, rice and ceaser salad, along with my fave wine: Relax. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the sunshine and chatted while dinner cooked.

I was enjoying my salad when J took my hand sstarted playing with the ring I was wearing (which he does all the time) and said 'why are you wearing this?' took it off my hand, replaced it with an engagement ring, got down on one knee and said 'Hollie will you marry me?' to which I replied 'holy f---!!!' (classy I know) I stood up started crying and nodded he got up gave me the biggest hug and I said "yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, YES!!! Are you sure???!!!" To which he laughed swung me around and gave me a giant kiss.

I STILL don't believe it.

And, I think you are right; I think this is the third ddn engagement this summer. I got engaged about three months ago, and I remember someone announcing ttheir engagement soon after. If I wasn't on my phone, I'd look up their username.

I don't know its hormones or what, but my eyes got a bit watery and then I squealed!

I think mine might be the second engagement that AlwaysOnStage was referring to. I got engaged at the beginning of June.
