Hey there everyone!

So I see from past posts (we're talking about years past) that there are a couple of fencers out there on DDN. I've always wanted to learn how to fence, even as a kid, but the opportunity was never there...that is until now! I just finished reading a book that inspired me to go for it...seek out a club and take those long wanted lessons!

Luckily I live in San Francisco, which apparently has a huge hub of like minded fencing people, so we have 4 or 5 clubs in the city alone and then a couple more surrounding. I did a little research, found one that actually provided beginning foil (Halberstadt Fencers' Club for all you that know), with what seems to be really experienced coaches, and I've signed up for their next session...starting on the 7th!

I'm really excited to learn this graceful and thinking sport! Ok, just had to share!
