My baby started school!

Charlie is fast approaching 5 years old (Nov 2nd) and he just started school in Reception year (which is the first year of 'proper' full day school here in UK as opposed to nursery/kindy where had had only been doing half days).

A few pics from yesterday morning on his first day. He was so excited! He ran in there and nearly forgot me at the door ... then he ran back and gave me a huge kiss and hug. I'm so happy he was excited and not nervous or scared to be left all day.

He's doing so well lately! He's a big tall boy, he loves all the typical boy things, football, Ben 10 and cars, and has a smart little mouth as well lol. Me and his dad (now separated 2 years) have a lot more of a settled relationship as it had been a little tense, and he has regular access 3 nights a week and alternate weekends which means Charlie is seeing him often.

Can't believe he is 5 soon! I remember being DDN addicted whilst pregnant and wondering who of me, Jenna or Katharine was gonna pop first!! Maybe its about time I caught up to you two and moved onto baby no2 right?

Oh my goodness, he is so handsome! He looks so much older all of a sudden!

I can't believe its been five years since we were pregnant with our Charlies!

He looks very well put together in his uniform - I wish our school had uniforms! Its always a battle in the morning with my daughter over what she wants to wear - and shes not yet five, so I'm worried about what will happen ten years from now!

Haha Erin you are spot on, people always comment saying Charlie is the most smiley kid they have ever seen! He has his moments but he's pretty happy 24/7

Jenna I can't believe it's been 5 years either! I remember us all being so excited and keeping track of eachother. I'm so glad UK schools have uniforms it makes life sooo much easier! And I do think it makes them look super cute when they are small all dressed up smart lol! Hope your Charlie is well and enjoying being a big sister?! X
